I was thinking along the same line as you Dwight, that one might also say that all crusiers look alike, all sport bikes look a like etc. It will be interesting to see how the Trophy will compare to the other Sport touring bikes that have been around a while. If Triumph can undercut the 1200RT's price of around 19k by a few thousand dollars, I think it will do quite well.
