I may have an older version. I got mine about 3 years ago and I would swear they told me water resistant and there was recommended water proof bags you could buy to fully protect electronics and such. I have not ridden with it in the rain but the zippers to not appear to have any water proofing. I think aside from a downpour it would be okay but untested at this point.
