... $23,199 for the base model.
Yeah but what a piece of kit. I hear the 2013 model has a coffee machine as standard with a toasted sandwich maker and a trouser press as options.
Also, don't forget in R.O.B. (Rip Off Britain) we get to pay £24,000 for the base model. That's about $36,000. Ain't we the lucky ones?

I've dealt with these folks and they discount. www.schroaders.comI was there the day Honda delivered 40+ yellow GL's. The stock # in reverse is the "sale" price.

I have a buddy with a wing. Helluva nice bike and well worth the funds if your going to do some serious two wheel traveling. I always figured I'd end up on one in my older days. That is unless Triumoh comes alng with something similar.

I have ZERO experience with a Gold Wing, however I have ridden my friends Valkyrie extensively, and I personally HATED it! Felt like I was riding an electric bike, no personality no character, no fun! IMHO your mileage may vary..................
Triumph Scrambler Diablo Red & Silver (2014), Arrow Exhaust, FI remapped with TTP #4, 16 tooth sprocket, Triumph Gel Solo seat & Rack, Progressive 440 1" lowered Shocks, SAI & O2 Removal, Airbox Restrictor Plate removed.

I don't know...900lbs. and a reverse? Why not get one of these with about the same base price of $23,190? http://o.aolcdn.com/commerce/images/90MAGEN1_Large.JPG

That surprises me, I always thought a Valkyrie would be great fun with all that power they are supposed to have. (That's that big 6 cyl. , right?)

The extra 300 lbs of the Valkyrie makes it feel a lot bigger. With no vibration, quiet motor and exhaust you won't even know why you got that ticket for doing 115 MPH on the way to the store.
They remind me of what somebody else said. It was so appropriate I stole it for mine. When I get off my Victory Kingpin and get on the Triumph it accelerates rides and feels like a Moped.
Lightweight, twisties, seat heights, cool, don't apply. If you want a 2-up tourer, there is really only 1. After the wing then there are all the alternatives.
I would have to say that BMW then the Vision, and Ultra Classic would be next in line.
I try to aggravate one person a day. Today may be your day.

I'm guessing that would probably be because Mark lists his occupation as Land Surveyor ... not hairdresser

Exactly why I got rid of mine. It's the only bike I've ever sold without regret. But, that being said, it does its job better than any bike I've ever ridden and it wouldn't suprise me if I buy another someday.

I didn't say they weren't any good. I know they are good driving cars. I just suggested that a certain type of person might buy one A friend from school who now lives in Portland, OR, races one. He says they're a hoot. BTW, he wasn't a hairdresser the last time I was in touch with him
