They were anxious for me to join, but adding up all the fee's made it just out of my budget. But it did get me hooked! There was suppose to be an introductory fee, but the pilot waived it. That was awesome in itself. I did get to fly, hold level flight, turn left, right and a 180 turn. So I'll keep an eye out for glider ports around the country. Tom, thanks for the advice. I couldn't have picked a better day to fly.
