so, googling around for 6th gear on triumph america, I came across this from british customs:

Do you find yourself looking for another gear when riding the freeway? British Customs has engineered a lightweight countershaft sprocket that allows riders to adjust their gearing ratio easily. Each sprocket is manufactured from 8620 case hardened steel and CAT plated, with lightening holes providing reduced weight compared to the stock sprocket.

(of course, as they imply later in the write-up, you'd be sacrificing low-end acceleration in favor of top end).

But I'm curious if anyone here has tried this.
