Been 2 months for me. I used to be pack & a half a day, then I quit cold turkey. For me, day 3 was ABSOLUTE HELL! I did slip on St. Patrick's Day, but that was it...none since.

One thing I've found to help is to smoke a cigar once a week or so (no inhaling). You still get a hell of a nicotine fix, and you find yourself craving cigarettes much much less.
