When I first got my bike I was using a clear spray wax but can't remember what brand it was??? Then I switched to Motul chain wax and wasn't impressed with it one little bit. It forms big black really sticky blobs that requires kerosene to remove it.
I've got the scottoiler now and am very happy with it. Once you get it adjusted right it's great.
