Just curious at this point how old our average rider is.

Riders Age
single choice
45-60 (62%, 86 Votes)
30-45 (16%, 22 Votes)
Under 30 (3%, 4 Votes)
60+ (19%, 26 Votes)
Total Votes: 138
Voting on this poll ends: 03/02/2012 1:43 PM

I try to aggravate one person a day. Today may be your day.

Huh!

Six days ago I went from the young and vibrant section into the wrinkly section

Thanks Ron, for making a happy man feel very old

Hey, now I can blame everything on my age

Too old to die young, too ugly to leave a good looking corpse

As well you should, Ade!

OR, as Dylan Thomas once observed:

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Oh crap, I didn't even notice that 45 appeared twice. I guess I can click the younger one.

I am 50 today, will turn 51 in a week and a half, but I'll still be in the same category.

I turn 45 later this year. Seems we have an abundance of people who are 45. Maybe that is why it is listed twice in the poll.

Puppies!

However, next month I'm turnin' 60, BUT thanks to Ron's overlapping of his categories up there, I TOO will still be able to tally myself in that "45-60" column!

(..well, at least for the next 13 months, anyway...THANKS RON!!!)

Well, yeah, cigarettes and the constant California/Arizona sunshine WILL over the years take its toll on a guy's face, ya know.

(...well, okay, maybe you might know that about cigarettes, but seein' as how you live in damp Ol' Blighty, you might not know about that second thing here, huh!)

A couple of years ago I could get away with telling my stepdaughter that the grey in my whiskers was 'cause I dyed it like that
Now she is 8 1/2 and sharp as a knife and doesn't fall for it. She knows I'm an old fart

yeah, I overlapped. Was just curious about the average age of a rider from the other thread about where do they go.

Looks like if this poll stays consistent almost half are over 45. Even Dwight will be OVER 60 in a month.

68% over 45. I think we may be listed as the most dangerous group in history! If 80 of us went for a ride we may still get lost!

Now, what was I saying, oh yeah, Mobile 1 is the best toothpaste, no, no, I will check back later.
