i just wired it to my battery, plugged it into the existing light socket thing and it was all good.
It's a lazy solution but it's quick and I didn't have to re-wire anything - just bolt off and bolt on.

So what did you do with all the excess wiring and plugs that are normally enclosed within the stock headlight bucket? Short of bobbing the wires shorter and losing the option of easily going back to stock, I crammed them all in a fugly junction box. I would love to see an alternative solution. Got one?
