And it was from Corbin.. My gunfighter showed up.. So i put it on the new bike to try it out.. Well it does not feel as bad as the old factory seat, but I feel liek i sit more foward and upright on the bike.. Anyone else have this problem? Also I put my side cover bolts,carb botls and clutch lifter on that I got from Brent,, man nice stuff. I also enjoyed one of the 2 mints he sent lol.. It looks to be cold this weeken so hopefully my chain guard, new air filter, and few other things will be here so i can get all the bolt on stuff done, oh and alos put the chrome rear sproekt I got form Brent on... Now if my ****** air lines for my paint booth would show up I could get the paint done and go ridding..And get yall them pics I am getting email after email about lol.. I think I sent one or 2 out by email, but they promised thye would not share them..

The Corbin Gunfighter comes out of the box hard as a rock, and you will have to break it in before it feels right (about 500 to 700 miles)just as you would with a new saddle for a horse. After it breaks in to your particular butt print, it will be just like it was made for you. Just give it time, and you'll think it's the most comfortable thing there was (in the saddle area, that is.).

I actually feel like I'm sitting lower than on the stock seat.

I got mine about two weeks ago and had the same feeling... little straighter sitting position and a little closer to the tank. Got a couple short test rides and then the rains came and other commitments... still waiting for a nice long ride to check the feel. I might need the back rest, just didn't want to spend an extra 220.00 for that.... ride safe...Gordon

I've got an extra back rest that I used only once. It's the oval one. I'll let go at a reasonable price.

It took me about 800 miles before I didn't notice I was sitting on my seat but rather riding my motorcycle. It was then I realized I could ride all day without having to shift my weight around to get comfortable. Give it time.

The back rest that you have, will it work on the stock seat? I have no problems with the stock seat, but if the backrest is adaptable and reasonable, I wouldn't mind trying it. PM me. TR

Regarding backrests. My father in law, god love him, rides a road king. Long story short he picked up a Corbin on ebay. Then a Backrest at a swap meet with no mounting hardware. He noticed that the size of the Corbin backrest mounting post was oddly close to the size of an old railroad spike. He ground it down a bit, buffed it out, got it chromed and works perfect on his corbin. The whole thing (back rest) cost him about $30. Not bad, and kind of cool really. Worth a shot.
