Their motorcycle sales were 111M. They have about 35 million so far in Indian with no return yet. One of the dealers at a meeting in Spirit Lake said the median price point is $12,500. The sales numbers are what they sell to the dealers not the retail numbers from dealers.

Vegas, Kingpin, Highball, 8balls ect are the low end where Vision, Cross Country, Cross Roads were the high end.

Anyhow 111,000,000/12500 leaves you with 8880 units. I figure that is close because of another press conference they did where they expected to exceed their biggest year 2006 of 10000 units but fell just short of that.

Anyhow the dealer I know says they got over 9k units this year and figures with the cross bikes they will easily do more than 10k units in 2012.

That is why I answered Triumph is 5x bigger than Victory.

I do think a company to spend 1/3 of its life selling a luxury item in recession to be in the black is pretty impressive. I also think they are here to stay.
