Sorry if this is an overpost but I couldn't find exact answers. I have a 2006 bonneville America and I have several basic questions on performance.
1. WOT, why and how is the speed limited to 100mph? Any and all bikes should be able to surpass that and I can't figure out why exactly this one stops short (mechanical limits or electrical limits).
2. What is the true top speed capability of this chassis/motor without going into the truly unsafe or highly modded zone?
3. How capable (hp/tq) is this motor/tranny without internally modding?
4. What's the average mileage (gas and longevity) of this bike/motor with basic maintenance?
Sorry about asking so many questions in one post but I figure since its all the same basic question(s) I could and should ask. Any and all information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance from this new TBA owner.
