Religion is part of our heritage, and the Constitution ( including that pesky first ammendment) is based on Christian principles.

I certainly made no implication of exclusivity of said principles. Your inference thereof is incorrect. I merely intended to say that the fact that 100% of the delegates to the Constitutional convention were stated Christians had an influence on the content.

You're right you didn't claim they were Christian exclusivly...just that they were Christian principels...and my point was they may be adopted by the Christians, Jews, Islamists, Buddist, or whomever, but they are just GOOD principels and need no further descriptors. Why does someone have to be a good Jew or Christian why can't they just be good... We (as a race) seem to have a propencity to want to label everything with far more than is required often to our own demise...Tiger Woods is'nt just a great golfer he's a great Black golfer...no he's just a damm good golfer PERIOD! No further distinction is required! To some "W" is a sh!ty Republican President...When "He's a Sh!ty president" would sufice! A Good President is good regardless of Dem or Rep. a good golfer is good regardless of race. a Good principel is good regardless of whether those whom adopt it think Christ is the savior or they think Toe Jam will save their sole!
