First, privacy is not mentioned in the constitution, it's an unenumerated right so it's subject to judicial reconsideration more than speech. Second, who gets to decide what constitutes an invasion of privacy? I'll bet they all get paychecks from the government! Right now there is a debate about whether or not spying on us with drones without a warrant is ok. That this is even a question shows how bad it's become. 
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.
