Nope I SWORE I wasn't going to get involved with this and I will limmit my comments to this one only!...I have dealt personally with John Kerry (when I lived in MA) I know John Kerry and have my own views of him based upon MY PERSONAL experiance! I wrote him and all of my other REPESENTATIVES (from both houses) a letter asking him to support a particular piece of legislation...of all the letters I wrote I got one reply...from John Kerrys office....stating that "although he appreciated my letter and my stand on the issue....he would not be supporting it due to HIS (not sorry but you are a minority in my constituancy and so I must vote with those who represent the majority) BUT HIS!!!belief...HE IS (was) MY...MY representitve....it is his JOB to represent the PEOPLE...very nice letter and the only one from anybody I got (that was at least impresive that he did take the time to respond to my letter) but it basicly said Fu(k you! I don't care what you think I don't agree so I'm not voting that way!! had he mentioned a wave of public oppinion that caused his choice...ok I lose...but don't tell me, as my representitive YOUR beliefs won't allow you to vote the way your constituants want you to...it is after all SUPOSED to be... Of the people, By the people and For the people.
