The Adventurer and Thunderbird were essentially the same bike. The Adventurer had Americanized high rise bars, single seat, up swept megaphones and duck tail rear fender. The Thunderbird had traditional normal bars, a Bonnie type seat, pea shooter mufflers and normal rear fender. The paint was different, The Adventurer was more "complicated" and only came in heritage gold/ivory and violet/ivory. The Thunderbird came in aegean blue, cherry red, diablo black, BRG/cream, cherry red/ cream, the two tone graphic was like the America. Both had a water cooled 70 hp 885 cc triple engine, they run circles around our bikes and standard Bonnies. The standard Bonnies variants replaced the Thunderbirds/ Adventurers, they weren't cruisers.
