Dang. Lot's of circuitous routes to the rally this year. I'm rolling to Dahlonega via Woodbridge, VA then Silver Spring MD then home then back up to the Gold Town. Figuring around 2,700 miles before rolling on Clay Creek Falls road this year. (Departing May 9th)

I did the War Eagle and Talladega run on Rhonda a few years back. I think it rained 8 times each way, but that was in October!

Nina and I are looking forward to making a day trip up. Rachel is graduating on the 23rd and we will have a houseful of company rally weekend, but we are just gonna leave them and come up for a bit.

Hell I beat you all!! Left out bright and early Thursday morning Arrived at the motel at 11 PM to be told my reservasions were for next week. Duh, owell Diane and I had a nice quiet dinner with Chy&Di witch you never get on rally weekends. After 1,515 miles in three days I can,t decide wheter to come back down next weekend, Might?

I am off to Raleigh NC for business and will be heading back to Georgia on Wednesday evening. I will be at the campsite around 11-12 am on thursday for setup. If anyone arrives early. Leave either space 1,2,3 completely open for my trailer and truck and for vehicles for whoever else is driving. Mike, I think you may be the first to arrive. I will be coming fully loaded with beer and such so don't worry about packing in supplies.
I will have 6-8 chairs, table, two pop up shelters, grill, coolers, extension cords, etc...
See you on thursday.

I'm supposed to be heading out thursday for friday arrival. (from NoVA). Now I have all kinds of issues friday morning. New plan - I will be leaving around 1pm friday - and trailering fiona down so that I can still arrive late friday night some time. I am still camping - and the same nights - friday, saturday, as originally planned. Just getting in late friday.
