I will arrive some time Tuesday. i am in franklin nc now.
i have cooler , with drinks, food and a pop up shelter.
my car is my tent so it can be moved when you arrive.
i have 2 chairs and i think the 4 i got at walmart are still at chys.
i did not bring any riding gear so i will not need to borrow any ones bike.
i will chase in the car or stay at the site and drink my self silly.

I'm thinking.....

Highlands NC on Thursday...Blue Ridge /Hiawassee on Friday and Chattswoth/ Ellijay on Saturday

These are printable maps, might not be a bad idea if you plan on going on the rides...

Still getting things ready. I finally decided which bike to ride, and Moe picked up Vera Lynn's CDI from me today. Right now the plan is to depart around 6am on Wednesday and ride up with Moe. The Wife will leave around 7-7:30am and drive up to Port Orange and pick up Ryan's Wife Jennifer. We should all get into Dahlonega on or before 8pm. I checked the weather for the Rally and currently there is only a 5%-20% chance of rain between Wed and Sun.

Rally points for planned rides..

Thursday and Fridays ride will be leaving from 1959 Highway 19 N, Dahlonega, GA.. otherwise known as the Chevron station just north of town past the high school.

Saturdays ride will be leaving from the pullover at the intersection of Torrington dr and Auraria rd just south of town on hwy 9 (towards Dawsonville).

All rides will be "kick stands up" at 1000 hours.. or 10 am for those civilian minded individuals. Show up with a full fuel tank and be ready to roll.

for all you campers. the rain early this week has left the camp a bit soft. not to bad in a car , but will be tricky on 2 wheels. it should dry out alot today with the clear skys.
stay to the right in the grass as you come down towards the camp site in the camp grounds.

From the SW to the SE comes a voice hoping that all have a terrific time at this year's Georgia rally!

(...and be sure to keep those shiny sides up, too!)

Stop it, you are going to ruin my rep...

Now if only I could shake this fever I might leave the cabin and be sociable.

So, how'd the Rocket do on this ride? Great, I'll bet.

(...have a great time back there, and we'll see ya in two weeks)

Um, I didn't ride here. Didn't have time to do this and SWTF so I flew to Orlando. Moe was kind enough to lend me Cinnamon Girl. We rode up to Dahlonega on Wednesday. I got sick yesterday so I'm chillin at the cabin while everyone else is riding.

Two gas stops and no meals. Go Tigger Go!!!!!

Stopped for lunch in Dublin, GA. Cinnamon Girl is in the back of a U-haul after the back tire blew out at 65mph. I kept her upright. The complete tale will follow.

Even though I didn't get to go on any of the rides with ya'll, it was great meeting everyone and being apart of things, even if only in a little way.

And thank you all for the congratulations! Nemo and I will be sure to bring our new little one out at the next rally ^_^

We'll all be looking forward to seeing "Speedmaster Skynyrd Adams" at next year's rally

I'm home safe after spending some time with my family and seeing my new niece (born last week). Can't wait to figure out where I'm going to ride to next.
