Here she is, folks.

The annual Arizona high country get-together, aka, the Southwest Triumph Fest is set for the first weekend of June 2012. That'll be the dates of June 1st-3rd.

The place: Prescott, Arizona

And as usual, anyone wishing to arrive on that Thursday and/or stay until the following Monday is more than welcome to.

Some very nice historic hotels and very reasonably priced motels abound in this town for those wishing their own lodgings. If you might be one of those folks, just ask me and I'll be glad to steer ya to one of 'em.

So, who's plannin' on attendin' this shindig this year, huh?

Not sure what my work load will be then, but it's something I've been wanting to attend since 2008. Maybe I'll get lucky this year.
Thanks Dwight!

Sounds VERY possible. Put please put me down for a STRONG possibility. Will confirm down the road.

I'm speeding because I have to get there before I forget where I was going.

I was in your shoes last year. The main meeting place is Dwights house. He and his wife Judie host it and all the evening festivities, food, beverages etc... are there. The motel is right down the street and most everyone stays there. There is not a bad soul around and you will be well greeted and welcome (I have learned this to be the case with all Triumph events).

youtu.be is the "shortened" version of the youtube.com URL. Mostly used on Twitter but it should work anywhere else.

if you haven't upgraded to iOS5 it won't open a youtube link correctly. speaking of i (anything) how come safari sometimes needs totally reset in order for one to log in to TBA forums (probably not a good place to pose this question)

The link works fine over here in Thailand, granted a little slow in downloading though.

Just a quick update here, folks.

As you folks know who caught the thread I posted on January 21st in the Lounge...

(...and for those who might have missed it, see the below link)

http://www.bonnevilleamerica.com/forums/...5&fpart=all

...Judie and I have purchased a home in Sedona Arizona. The escrow is scheduled to close on March 1st. Within the week of this writing we'll be putting our home here in Prescott on the market, and hopefully this house will sell within a couple of months, but ya never know, of course. And, because it's always much easier to sell a home while it's furnished, we really can't move in total to the Sedona home until we're in escrow with the sell of this home here in Prescott.

And so, where this year's SWTF will be headquartered is still in question as of this writing.

(...there will be more updates to come as this process moves forward...thanks)

Update to follow...but first...

Brent, sorry to hear ya can't make it this years again, but it sure was nice seein' ya here at last year's shindig. Hope to see ya again maybe next year!

Ryan, glad to hear you've penciled this into your schedule. Hope to see ya here this year!

And now for that update...

The house in Sedona is set to close on March 1st, and up until this morning the move there was all incumbent upon the sale of this house in Prescott which was put on the market a little over a week ago.

Now, the reason I said "up until this morning" was because this very morning we've accepted an offer on this house which in the contract will be set to close March 31st....which means...YAHOO!!! Unless somethin' falls through between now and March 31st, the 2012 Southwest Triumph Fest "Headquarters" will be in one of THE most beautiful locations in this country...Sedona Arizona.

(...whew, I'll tell ya, for a while there I was considerin' cancellin' this thing this year because of all this stuff...sure glad it appears I won't have to now!)

***Moving Update***

The escrow closed on the Sedona house and we received the keys to it today, folks!

The Prescott house is presently in escrow, with a closing date of March 31st.

And so, so far all is going as I've hoped it would.

And Bob, I should have a fix on the motel rooms in Sedona no later than early April, and possibly even sooner.

Well, if you'd SAID something, I might've come and given you a chuck moving!
Me and my brother have become dab hands at emptying houses. Hell, on occasion it's been with the owners permission
