Those the Emgos? I had the reverse-cones on mine for several years and finally switched over to Thrush Cherrybombs. The reverse-cones were cheap and light, but the packing all blew out within 1k miles -- repacked them repeatedly, and every time they were emptied out in short order.
That, and I just got sick of the noise. The Thrush cans are still plenty loud, but they tone back the harsh raspy end.
