Was thinking of buying the Triumph America & Speedmaster Cocktail Shaker Performance Package for my 06 America. Looks like a good deal. Come with cocktail shaker exhaust, air box removal kit, air injection removal kit all for $800. Was looking for your opinions thanks

I'd put the $800. toward a big bore kit (904). No better bang for the buck, period!

I would disregard what Bob said. A 904 is great, but if you're doing that you're going to have to do better exhaust and air filtration anyway. So you just doubled the price at least. So do that and when you have more cash, do the 904.

If you were dead set on the 904, though, you could drill the heck out of your airbox, put in a K&N or Unifilter, pull the snorkel and drill the piss out of your stock muffers. That would get you some flow and a lot more noise for very little cash. Might not sound as good, but it would be loud and run like a raped ape.

I haven't seen the pipes you intend to purchase, but I put BC pipes on my Thruxton and the quality was excellent, top drawer.

wow...stealing that one...bravo.
My two cents, if you are doing the 904 kit, airbox removal, and pipes, do the front sprocket AND DEF DO A PERFORMANCE CLUTCH KIT. If not you will slip at around 5k rpm.

Personally i am not a big fan of the cocktail shaker exhaust, i did the removal kit, K&N pods, re-jetted and through on some BUBs and i am very happy with the performance, sound etc etc.

Sound preference is subjective, of course. I sure like my Specialty Spares. I like Bubs, too. The important thing is you can do an 1100cc stroker kit but if you're running stock exhaust and intake it's not worth a damn. Flow first, bigger air pump later.

Well, if the ape has already been violated its a little late to run. Those cocktail shakers are pretty much straight pipes, I bet they make a big sound.

I always thought it was scalded cat, because who would ever throw boiling water at a dog?

apes, dogs, cats! I think some sort of experiment is in order here. Which is the fastest, and what is the best motivator?
