Been a fan of Bell helmets for years. I do not currently own a Bell but that looks like a lot of helmet for the money.

It's not speeding till you get pulled over.

Sounds like something Regan MacNeil would wear.

Jason, though I don't own one or have any firsthand knowledge of this helmet other than having watched that video about the time Bell came out with this model some time back, I do remember being very impressed by what I saw in said video, and think at $99.00 it seems a steal.

What I especially like about it is that when the chin bar is flipped up, it appears to fit very tightly against the forehead area of the helmet, which would make me think that even in that up position it would be much more aerodynamic than most other modular helmets currently on the market...which of course would be a good thing.

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

ONLY if one purchases the optional pea soup blowhole feature, Ian!

(...and ONLY then!)

I like my Bell helmet as well, I might have to check one of these out in person and decide if I want a modular. It doesn't look bulky and clunky like a lot of other modular helmets I've seen.

BELL. REVOLVER. HELMET. IS. CRAP.
I'm returning mine today.
You might have heard that the locking mechanism on the flip-front is metal-to-metal.
Yes it is. But. It's a credit-card-thin strip of sheet metal that engages a one-eighth inch diameter metal pin.
It was VERY difficult to put on my glasses after putting on the helmet.
I had to hold the liner away from my head and slide the earpiece of the glasses in. One side at a time.
Luckily I didn't bend my glasses. It was impossible to put on if you were already wearing your glasses.
But the WORST thing was NOISE! It was as loud as a Hurley-style half helmet!!!
I saw the pictures and thought it was a good-looking helmet,
the $99 sale price was good, but the helmet is CRAP. Save your money.
I'm out the $6.99 it will cost for return postage.

modular helmets should be this tight and almost all have significant noise increases from full face. Have you ever had another type of modular? Just checking because the helmet appears to get decent reviews. There are always going to be comprises when you pay less than $100 for a helmet. looks like a decent lid for this price

I've ordered one yesterday, should arrive this week. I too wear glasses. I'll give you a report after wearing it awhile. I've been wearing an HJC-IS Max modular, which I like very much, so it will be an interesting comparison. By the way if you have never been to the WebBikeWorld website, check it out. They evaluate just about every helmet known to man , many with accompanying videos. Just about everything else motorcycle related too. Great site.

I liked the revolver, but as has been said earlier, it is VERY difficult to get glasses on past the temple padding. Fit me well when I tried it.

i bought one the other day, i can't comment on nosie etc yet to early in the season, the fit is very snug, the helmet fits small so if you are a medium get a large etc, the helmet (mine in ralley stripe) is very nice, the finish is nice, the lense etc is all nice, the clamp in the front is smaller but heck don't jam the sucker closed all the time. Its in the middle of the pack of modulars for weight, i do not think its bad at all, i am not convinced of the inside visor mechanism but we will see, otherwsie so far i like it, and hey i paid 200 bucks for this sucker here local, with helmets i prefer to have support near by, as well try and find the rally one out there on the net etc its tough.
