I've always wanted to know; how many attendees actually dress up as characters? Is it as much as the media implies or just a highly visible few?
I bought my first comic in th early '60s, and was promptly lectured by my mom about how it was a waste of money(Interesting since my Dad was an illustrator for Disney in the '30s). Anyway, I never bought another - but did have a friend whose father managed a 7-11 and let me read them for free.
I'm now going through some my son collected trying to see if they have any value before I pass them to his kids. They're all unopened and still in plastic. Any advice on where to start?
