However, the reason I much prefer the Single Malts is because of all the different and distinct aromas and flavors each of the Single Malts seem to offer up a little more, depending upon its local distilling and aging process. It's sort of like how the better Cabernet wines are also more complex to the palate.
Speakin' o' which, wasn't that Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 Year Old Whisky that Mike brought to the SWTF last year some goooooooood stuff!
Oh yeah, a good single malt like the one you mentioned is a delight, something to be savored as a special treat.
(Some single malts that I have tried, you can keep , though hey, one man's poison, etc. )
