I just read this post by Paul on the FB Nelson Rat Raid page... thought I would share with you...

Paul England On behalf of all the people who attend the Raid every year I would like
to offer our sorrow at Johns passing and condolences to his family . We
will all miss him and many a glass will be raised in his memory at
Nelson. Several people have come forward to do something in his memory
and we will have something appropriate in place to celebrate his many contributions to our Rally, which was made better by his participation.
Also if anyone knows his family please pass on the condolences of his
many fellow Triumph riders from both sides of the border Paul England

Ive passed along the info to Gene so he can share with Johns family and I can't wait to see what is planned in memory of John. This is so awesome no matter how big or small. The thought and gesture have me teared up again... out of joy this time.
