Good Xmas vid. Dogs are better than people. But, one snowy December day, I once saw a hunter strip down to his briefs to rescue a dog on a pheasant retrieve that had broken through the ice of the Smokey hill river in Kansas. The hunter and his partner had watched the dog exhaust it's self trying to exit the slow moving water, but the thin ice kept breaking. In the end both hunter and dog survived, but it was one chilly ride from Konopolis to Topeka.
