I don't as a general rule. But I asked my realtor friend about resale value if I have just one bathroom and no tub and she said I should have a bench or something. She literally said 'to make it easier for women to shave their legs in the shower.' And the high-capacity bench wasn't much more than, say, a 200pounder. Actually, most of the time I'll probably leave it in the hall closet.
