Okay, I got the ol' mike out to check the rotor thickness for front & rear and both measured roughly +.08 mm. from minimum spec. & rotor run out was well out of spec for both. (the previous owner just changed pads / if at all). So I figured it was time to change em both out along with the pads.

FastEddy has the EBC MD649 front & MD643 rear (stock one piece rotors) for my 07 America for about $343.00 plus shipping. Motorcycle Superstore has the EBC ProLite front & rear to fit the America for $282.00 (plus shipping). The difference is the Pro-Lites have an aluminum center hub rivited to a billet steel rings.
My question is between stock & the Pro-lites which would be the better choice. I'm leaning toward the stock rotors as the 2-piece construction seems a bit iffy to me especially in the event of a hard braking sitiuation.

Has anybody run the EBC Pro-lite rotors on their machines & could you share your impressions re: durability, wear, & etc. Thanks bunches
