IMMHO 132 HP and nowhere to sit at a mere $45,000 "to start" price equates to a very impressive example of mechanical art. I think they are amazing gallery pieces. Nothing more. Just sayin'.

Well, yes and no, Barry.

Yeah, that's a whole lot o' money for a motorcycle alright, however I think this baby looks like it would handle pretty darn well out there on the road, AS compared to so many of what I feel are TRULY nothin' more than "mechanical art/gallery pieces"....I'm talkin' all those raked out/stretched out "chopper-esque"(that "chopper-ESQUE" thing was for you Ian and you Chad, 'cause I don't feel like gettin' into THAT whole "chopper debate" with you guys again!!! ) custom motorcycles that DON'T handle worth a damn in most cases, AND which in many cases cost every bit as much as what Confederate is askin' for their product.

(...but yeah Barry, that seat IS pretty darn small there for $45 Grand, ain't it?!)

Price out a new bespoke Brough Superior sometime, $45K is chicken feed...

Built here in AL, these impressively ugly machines have massive power and crisp handling, in "Fantastic Four" speak they're the 'Thing' of motorcycles. I can just hear that monster saying, "It's clobbering time!"

WELL,

1) The SEAT is big enough for MY arse!
2) The PRICE is too large for my arse!

Unfortunately, MY ARSE can't compromise!

"and when I'm on my BA, I DO feel like a bit of a Rocker"

They won't let you join their exclusive club with an America/Speedy, not traditional, so feeling like one is as far as you get.

Aah, yes..the "Brit Iron Rebels" and their "creed" of "no Cruisers allowed" rears its ugly head yet again, eh Ryk?!

However, now that erle has that whole "I'm turnin' my BA into a Thruxton" thing goin' on now, I wonder if he could get in through the back door somehow, eh?!

Heck, for THAT matter, now that I've moved my foot controls back to a more standard style placement on MY BA, I wonder if those fellas would be "so kind" as to reconsider MY joinin' up with 'em?!!!

(...naaah, on second thought, I don't think I'd care to "ruin" their little club!!!)

Can you imagine the havoc we could start if we both got our foot in the door?!

Kinda like an incurable cancer.
