Although, they are much more protective of their prairie dogs there, so if they are fitter that will serve them well when they break an ankle in a burrow! Besides, their fitness clogs up the mountain roads in the summer with their spandex and bicycles, makes taking the twisties not as fun....



I think a lot of those 'fit' Boulderites moved to Asheville when Boulder got so crowded, like I did. I wasn't actually IN Boulder, I was due east of it with a great view of Boulder Mountain to the west and the brown cloud and skyline of Denver to the southwest.
Asheville is full of Olympic caliber runners, bicyclists, paddlers, etc. Miles and miles of trails and rivers.
Lots of fun if you're into that kind of thing.
