Michelin is advertising double your mileage on a bike tire now. With their new comander 2.

My Tiger 1050 came with Michelin Pilot tires on it. I got just over 10,000 miles out of them. Both front and read wore at the exact same rate. Currently I have Michelin Pilot Road 2 tires and they are a true dual compound tire. Great tires and the tread wear seems to be better than the OEM Michelin tires.

On my America I have the Metz 880 front and rear and like them a lot. Much better than the OEM tires and also better than Dunlop. The tread wear also seems to very good, and like the Tiger at about the same rate for front and rear.
