I just replaced my original front tire with an Avon AM26 Roadrunner 110/90 18, on the recommendation of the local "Tire Nazi" (who was in turn recommended by a couple of ex highway patrol officers who run a local training course).
I've less than 100 miles on it, and I'm not a very aggressive rider anyway, but to me it seems a marked improvement over the Lasertech.
