Hello to all!!

Just wanted to post and show everyone a picture of my new bike! Haven't owned a bike in about 5 years and my wife finally said yes!! My father rode a 1969 Triumph Trophy 500 single carb and I continue the legacy!!

Thanks for getting them to post right. I have no idea how to get them to work like that from my phone. Anyways, you guys know the specs, the only work I'm going to do is a small sissy bar or the wife and a small shield for my eyeballs from the Florida bugs!!

Anyone near Jacksonville Florida? Hit me up, I pick her up on the 22nd and will be riding everyday till the wheels fall off!!

Nice buy James.
Welcome to the forum.
What year is it - 2006?
Apart from the bars, do you know what mods has it had done to it?
Tell us a bit about your new toy as we all like to see some new BA porn when it appears.

Same machine as in James's post Moe?
Some members reckon the black BA's are the fastest but those graphite & silver ones are the coolest.

Yep, 2006, pictured above. I think the only things its got is the chrome side cover and air filters. I'm still doing lots research on it to learn more about the bike and what makes the BA a "better" bike. But any info you guys have on the model or what you see on this one would be great to know! Shes actually in the shop now getting a top to bottom detail and all fluids changed and everything lubed up as needed. I will have more pictures tuesday or Wednesday when I actually pick it up.

2006 Bonneville America. 12,980 miles, new tires chain and sprockets, and Rider!! $4,200

Thanks for the warm welcome!!

Find some enjoyment in knowing that it is the RAREST color option! (I believe).

It's right up there with the blue & green ones on the coolness factor!

I'm in Orlando, and ride EVERY weekend, even though it's been a "tad" chilly, being in the 60's and all. (in the mornings )

I ride a GS now, as I'm in need of a CDI (get ready for that), and I'm broke. But I should have the BA up in a month! (or so )

it is a fact that the graphite and silver TBA were not only the best looking but 5X faster than all others...you can't argue with science. (if you add the chrome sprocket cover and top off the jugs with some shiny you can break the time barrier

very nice looking bike, but i am bias.

Does anyone have a preferred dealer/vendor for parts and accessories? The first thing I'm really looking into is pulsing head and tail lights and new signals. And also, does everyone mostly agree that that kind of lighting is safer?

Definitely. Try Eddy at fasteddysports.com and Brent at newspeedmaster.com. For used parts try the ebay store known as pinwall.

Welcome to the site! And as much as i think your bike and the coloros are GREAT! I still think that black ones are the FAST ones! :-) i am a little biased though.

shark, thanks, right back at you. the shield is from fast eddy, just tell him you want one for your year etc. he is a pro. give him a call. the chrome is an ongoing project (my lower forks are getting done right after my 904 kit is done) i have a ton of other extras on mine and i will be happy to share my info. NOTE my chrome side panel was electroplated and they botched it, so what you see there is no more. BUT i have found a new guy who is not a con artist and stands by his work lifetime. once it is back from him and i get through a whole season without a problem i will give him a good ref. PM me and we will chat it up about the best looking TBA's ever made my friend

I'm happy for you! This is pretty much EXACTLY the bike I want for myself, or close enough. I'd be jealous but I just feel impatient knowing my day will come, but it can't come soon enough.

Yep, Black BA's are the fastest, but graphite two tones are verrry cool indeed. Nice ride you have there & I'm jealous that you can ride through the entire year (Hmmmm...maybe I should move )
