If I were to put a Speedmaster fender on my America how do I fill the holes for the brake lines?

Whoever sells the fender to you should provide black plastic plugs. They are not very noticable.

Give Bob at Palm Beach Triumph a call. He may have some more at a very reasonable price.

Hi Phil! I really like the look of the SM fender on Raven. Could you tell me if a TBA fender could be converted (cut) into the shape of an SM one? I have a spare Cardinal Red one and that would be another good thing to do while waiting for the ******* snow to go away.

Hey Piper,

It's plastic so why not... How's this?

I have some light tracing paper and I will make a template of the SM fender this weekend and mail it to you.

The fender can be cut into any shape you want as it is plastic and easy to modify. Why not be creative and come up with something you like unlike anyone elses?

I'm going thru the same delema as we speak. Picked up some black plugs from lowes (better hardware selection than the depot by the way), and also considered chrome plugs. Just for fun. They are fairly inconspicuous. Mine came with the "black plug/brack line clips" and if all else fails I could shave off the clip part.

Much appreciated! Maybe it's even possible to e-mail? Then I could choose between copying or being creative... One thing that bothers me though, is that since I've cut off the middle section of the fender brace maybe it (the fender) will be flimsy if I cut off too much. Hmm, think, think, think... Well, at least I'm in no hurry. The white awful stuff is still everywhere.

You know what's funny, the speedmaster fender actually feels stiffer to me than the america. Maybe because when you push on the end of the america fender you actually have more leverage to bend it, not that it bent much at all. But with less material, there's less mass to bounce around, so I would think you will be fine trimming it down.
