I know only too well from our last but one visit.
We left Scottsdale in shorts and 'T' shirts to drive up to the Grand Canyon. We got to Flagstaff and it started snowing. When we got to the canyon it was a blizzard and standing on the edge (in a total 'white-out) you couldn't see a thing.
We had to come over again and did the helicopter flight into the canyon, amazing.
We have friends who live in Mt Pleasant, Scottsdale.
