One day my wife tells me "I want you to teach me to ride and lets get a couple of bikes"...I didn't argue. So we have been riding Honda Shadows the last 6 years because of my previous experience with the brand (off road bikes in the 70's) Decided to make a change to Triumph so I bought this brand new Phantom Black '11 America. So far added just a few accessories, Triumph clutch cover and lifter arm cover. Saddlemen bags on easy mounts with Triumph emblems. Memphis Shades Hellcat shield.

Those sand dunes look like just west of Michigan City, Indiana, Awesome bike, BTW

Virginia Beach, Va. just past that dune is the Atlantic ocean. We live and work here but every chance we get we head 1hr south to the outerbanks of North Carolina so that explains my username. Beach cruisers.

What's up with that front turn signal bar? That's not original to the 2011s is it? If so, I never noticed it until now.

Yep, that's new for 2011. This picture is from Triumph:
Edit: actually my bike has amber reflectors on the front forks and red reflectors on the rear fender bracket which that factory photo does not show...hadnt noticed that before.

I went back and looked at the Triumph site pictures, the bike looks cleaner without them. The bags already cover the rears and the fronts do seem to be getting a little loose...might fall off anytime now.

She's had her 06 Shadow Aero 750 since new and is still quite attached. The bike has been absolutely reliable, looks and runs like new.
