As I'm about to put my bike away for the winter here in the midwest,my thoughts are turning to next years rallys. Now that I've officaly retired I'm thinking I could make it to all of the America.com rallys next summer.Has this ever been done? We'er talking five rallys ,right? that would be,in no perticular order,Midwest in Iowa,Southwest in Arizona,Arkansas in,well Arkansas,North east in New York and Georgia,if its back on the calender next year.I'm not sure if Newhampsire still has one?How bout it,anybody else able to try this? It's a great concept but could make for a long year. You rally organizers get your dates up early as possible so I can put a plan together, makes those long winter weekends go faster when you can daydream

That's a good idea Jack,

Don't know how hard it would be website administration wise? We use the Google calendar feature at work to post meetings, vacations, events, vacations, deadlines, vacations, holidays, vacations among the four of us. Might have to pm, e mail or even call web guru Friar to answer those (and other) questions. It's been snowing here since last night, he's probably looking for something to do

Ya know, we have a calendar here, just nobody uses it...

http://www.bonnevilleamerica.com/forums/calendar.php?Cat=0

Of course, it's no where as usable as Google Calendar. If someone wants to be responsible for updating it, we have a Google Calendar for the bonnevilleamerica.com@gmail.com account. I don't know if I can open it up to everyone, probably not a good idea.

Wow, time to start rally planning already? Ok, well we usually do either the last weekend in june, or the first weekend after 4th of july weekend. Since it sounds like the swtf is going to be in june, maybe we'll do the midwest in july this year.

I agree. What about a Northwest Rally in Montana. Hint Hint Or maybe a Rocky Mountain run in Colorado. Donny has a time share in Steamboat. Ooops sorry Donny We could always do a KY jelly run in Kentucky. I'm sure we are more then welcomed at JR's house.

Actually John, I haven't looked at a 2012 calender yet, but next year's SWTF will most likely be the first weekend of June again, as it seems the weather at that time has proven to be a bit more conducive than it was when I was havin' the rally in May, as you know.

(...and as long as those Mayans weren't right, I'll expect I'll be runnin' it the first weekend of June in the year 2013 too!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Well, come to think of it, AmyLee and I could host a meet and ride event. Our location is central California, 75 miles from Yosemite Park, 110 miles from Monterey/Santa Cruz or 150 miles to San Francisco. The date would be best in the spring or early fall, summer time gets hot but riding to the coast or mountains early will work.

June 9th has possibilities, its a free entry day to the park, http://www.nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/feesandreservations.htm September 29th is another possibility.

FJ, you're always welcome. The only problem I can see is that many of the B.A members would be time limited and 600 miles north west from Prescott to travel. AmyLee and I would be more than happy to host a return to the north west event. LOL

If Dwight is doing the first weekend of June it makes sence for Robert&Amylee to do the second weekend as us east siders would already be out there.

Sure, if any East Coast or West Coast members are interested in stopping, they are more than welcome to make our location a base camp for exploring the area. We would probably need a head count as time got closer. We would plan a Mountain loop and/or a Coast route.
