Man that sucks. Hope things work out for you. The only help I can give is some advice;
I agree with Keith. Take the CDI unit and blast it with a hair dryer. Should start up fine. Happened to me several years ago after soaking my bike with a pressure washer. Never again!
Don't forget to check the side switch. You can bypass it at the connector if it is water soaked.
