I got a little Veterans Day reminder from some of the locals, with a bang...well more of a boom. Dove in a ditch completely unnecessarily - darn rocket hit like a mile away. Was it ironic or merely redundant that I watched "Hamburger Hill" and "Patton" while actually IN a combat zone? LOL
Wish I could have just gone for a nice ride...
Anyway, for my small part, thanks for the Vets day sentiments, and I'll add my own hearfelt thank you's to those who went before me.
(and yes I know it's late, they're shutting down most of the internets over here on the way out the door)
