If anyone here is looking for a Audio/MIDI Interface and Controller (something to plug your stuff into for recording on the computer) I have a Tascam FW-1082 for sale. Why? Because I have 2 of them... the one for sale is a backup unit. It was used for maybe 2 months while my other one was on the road.
It's a GREAT board! Connects to your computer via firewire. It takes the place of your computer's sound card and is therefore a playback device as well. The features are too many to mention here but you can read about it in the link below. I will however mention one very cool feature. The controls are motorized so if you run DAW capable software, the screen controls physically operate the board's controls and vise versa. With taxes I paid well over $800. I'll let it go for $450 + shipping. I'm about to list it so not sure how long I'll have it.
