Thanks Keith, with the fact that I had to do this next to the staircase, which is probably the best acoustically sounding place in my house right now, this went well enough.

This mic was a pleasant surprise, I almost didn't want to wait for it and go with an AudioTechnica ATH-2020... I am really glad I waited for this little gem. It is turning out to be all that I read about it on the net.

Yep, with better placement and little tweaking, I am sure I can achieve some nice recordings.
