Another option I was thinking of....What if I set up a click track and post it to this site
http://www.wikiupload.com/like 4 minutes at 100bpm, something. The person downloads the file, plays it on their computer while recording their take. Then they upload their track to the same site. Ive been doing this type of recording a lot lately.
Means of recording is more important than skill at this point. Also having each track queued at zero and in time is crucial. We can worry about quality when we get the system down.
If anyones looking for means to record a quick track $100 gets you a decent field recorder like this. I just bought one a few months ago to record quick riffs here and there around the house. Quality is amazing for the price.
