Just a Quick one, just fitted the triumph slash cuts,bikes standard speedmaster 03. Im getting a lot of poping on the over run, bike runs better pulls through to 115 mph. Have I got to blank the A I up or can I get away with joining the two pipes up under the tank.

Get yourself a proper kit for the AI removal.
This consists of the 2 plugs and washers that go in place of the pipes next to the carbs.
Also includes a vacuum port plug and an airbox plug.

While your removing the AI system, take a length of the vacuum control hose that connects the inlet manifold to the valve unit and connect the vacuum ports on the manifolds together. You will find that your idle is a bit nicer with this ballancing connection. Be sure to keep the rubber caps where you can find them, youhave to disconnect the hose and cap the ports to adjust the carburettors.

You'll need to remove AI, re-jet and adjust your air screws. I suggest buying the AI removal kit as Tony suggests. You may need to buy the D-tool from Newbonneville if you have a 2004 -2006 model. Most folks start at 3 turns out on each.
