my buck and a quarter:

NOTE: You only have to loosen the foot control bar and move it forward. This provides sufficient clearance to remove the right engine cover. Careful though as the magnets will snatch the cover out of your hand and if your fat fingers have come between the cover and the engine case and the dreadful snatch occurs...OUCH! Also have some RTV on hand to seal the U shaped grommets before you reinstall the cover. I wish I could have saved my gasket(s). An iffy proposition at best saving the old gasket that is. Better to have one on hand before you remove the cover.
