My 05 did the CDI, then a coil, then a CDI then, then, then,
The problem is the CDI acts alot like a coil going bad. If it switches sides then its probably the CDI>
Also check the obvious, ground connection on the battery being loose etc. And, as above, the connections to the coil need to be tight.
If it gets worse or only comes on when its hot, I am so sorry to tell it is sounds like the CDI then.
