Ah! Now you might THINK this Wade, however considering that the snow now falling at Ed's place in New Mexico probably originated in Canada(well, at least the cold front came down from Canada anyway), and thus technically the snow's taste by virtue of it possibly being of Canadian origin, could rightly be said in this case, and in this case alone, to have a "flavour" which the dog's palate might be able to discern. 
(...that is, of course, IF Canadian snow does indeed have any flavor..errr, I mean flavour to it at all)
