Sad day for motor sport. News that Simoncelli was killed this morning in Malaysia during the GP. Most controversial rider for a few years but great to watch, he'll be missed.

That is sad news indeed, He was a good rider and brought a good bit of competition to the class.

I just read that on the BBC website. Morons on the grandstand throwing bottles because the race was stopped. Appears he was hit by two other bikes and his crash helmet was ripped off. The doc on the scene said he suffered massive head, neck and upper body trauma. Tragic
