congrats my friend. something i have noticed about grandchildren that is different than our children. grandchildren always seem to run to you with arms open and outstretched with a smile and the word gampa comming out of the mouth whereas our children tended to run and hide cuz dad was home
grandchildren seem to love you unconditionaly where our kids were always after something
dont get me wrong our kids love us but its different with the grandkids. you will see my friend
i remember when my son handed me my first grandchild, i looked over at my wife and said something like "ooooh i get it now"
there were times i wanted to just handcuff them to the bedroom wall and leave them there untill they were old enough to boot out the door but when he handed me that first one, it kinda all came clear
i have 3 here in town and there is one that just cant get enough of riding with grandpa, if a few wks go by and we havent been, she will call and remind me " you know its been 3 weeks since we been for a ride grandpa, when are you gonna take me" the other 2?? not so much they enjoy time out with grandpa on the bike but that one cant seem to get enough. i hope yours is the same with you!!!
