My Jeep quit running yesterday evening on my way home from work. Cost me an $85 tow to get home. I was fairly close to home. Since it gets dark early I didn't have time to go over it by the time I got it home. The up side is I rode my bike to work today, kind of chilly this morning but not too bad and the ride home was really nice. Around 70ยบ and sunny. Once home I set in to diagnosing my Jeep. I have fuel to the injectors. Pull a plug and clamp it to an AC line where I can see it. Crank the engine and no spark. (plug was a beautiful golden brown) Got out my code reader and it told me primary/secondary coil fault. Good news, with any luck I'll replace the coil and be back in business. There were no other trouble codes.
Almost forgot, I had posted that on my way home from Niagara Falls my bike died twice in the rain,well it ran flawlessly today and was great fun!
