Tom, round town @ 35-50 mph the roadster screen works very well for me. On the highways @ 55-75 I get alot of wind but don't really notice any real bad head buffetting until I have the bike up to 80-95+ mph. Wind shear around my helmet at those speeds are pretty bad, and I sort of duck down (getting under the wind stream off the shield) about 2 inches to avoid the head buffeting.

Just a point of note in my recent experience)...side winds (winds coming perpendicular or nearly so, to the direction of travel) will contribute greatly to head turbulence. On a 250 mile ride to the lake early this summer, 12-15 mph (with gusts to 30mph)cross winds played a major role in the head buffetting I experienced. I had to leave the highway (traveling 65-75 mph) and opt to travel state secondary roads (45-55 mph) to avoid getting hammered to death.

Hmmm..maybe I should give Kieth's test a try too
